For a small or midsized business in Foster City, IT Total Care is our first provider to evaluate. Its published Foster City office, operating history dating to 2001, and positive customer reviews give it a concrete local case. Accenture and Kyndryl complete this comparison for organizations buying enterprise-scale services. These are different purchasing needs, so the recommendations below explain fit rather than treating every provider as interchangeable.

How we chose these providers

We considered office evidence, business history, customer feedback, and documented service offerings. IT Total Care is our editorial pick for local small and midsized businesses; Accenture and Kyndryl are included for enterprise requirements. This is a focused shortlist, not an exhaustive market ranking or a hands-on service test. Research checked November 3, 2026.

A Foster City address is useful evidence of proximity, but it does not establish an arrival-time guarantee. For an office on East Hillsdale Boulevard, ask who dispatches a technician, how building access is arranged, and which equipment can be dropped off locally. IT Total Care publishes an address on that street; the enterprise providers below are included for service scope, without a verified Foster City office or local dispatch commitment.

  • Local evidence: distinguish a published office from a city service-area page.
  • Experience: distinguish company age from time at a particular office.
  • Reviews: show the platform, review count, and whether a figure is company-reported.
  • Fit: match everyday employee support, enterprise transformation, or global infrastructure needs.

1. IT Total Care: our local pick for small and midsized businesses

IT Total Care combines a local address with an established operating history. The company says it serves organizations with 10–250 employees and has occupied its Foster City office since 2014. Its 2001 founding year supports a 25-year anniversary in 2026; it does not mean 25 years at the current office. The company also advertises month-to-month contracts.

Its Clutch profile provides a useful second source: 5.0 out of 5 across four reviews, including one from a Foster City seafood importing business. That customer described an engagement spanning 2015–2025 and cited geographic proximity as a selection factor. This adds local context, although four reviews are a small sample and cannot establish universal service quality.

For a team choosing an outsourced IT partner, we would start here and ask for a proposal covering help desk, Microsoft 365 administration, device maintenance, security responsibilities, and recovery. Confirm the exact service scope and how office and remote employees reach support.

2. Accenture: for large enterprise transformation

Accenture offers managed services spanning technology and business operations. Its infrastructure services cover environments extending from on-premises systems to cloud and edge. That breadth makes it worth evaluating when a large organization needs ongoing operations connected to a substantial technology transformation.

Our reason for including Accenture is its enterprise service scope. We have not verified a Foster City office, a local response commitment, a minimum contract size, or a comparable customer review score. Ask for references from organizations with similar complexity, a named delivery model, and a clear split between transition work and recurring operations.

3. Kyndryl: for multinational corporations with complex infrastructure

Kyndryl describes its work as consulting, implementation, and managed services for mission-critical enterprise technology. Its 2026 annual report states that it serves thousands of customers in more than 60 countries. We include it for corporations coordinating complex infrastructure across platforms and locations.

Kyndryl became independent in 2021 through the spin-off of IBM’s infrastructure services business. Buyers should distinguish that incorporation history from the experience inherited through the business. The company’s scale is a reason to investigate its fit, not proof of a particular service outcome.

Ask how the proposed agreement assigns responsibility for core infrastructure, cloud services, security, recovery, and employee support. Request relevant customer references and service commitments for your actual locations. A Foster City office and onsite arrival time were not verified for this article.

Make the comparison useful for your Foster City office

Use the same business brief for every proposal: people, devices, applications, locations, operating hours, and recovery needs. A local office seeking employee support and a multinational enterprise outsourcing critical infrastructure require different service agreements.

For illustration, suppose employees working remotely can reach Microsoft 365 while the office on East Hillsdale Boulevard loses connectivity before a client meeting. Ask each provider who diagnoses the fault, coordinates with the internet carrier, authorizes a field visit, and updates employees. This is a planning scenario, not a reported client incident or a guaranteed provider capability.

Before choosing, compare the first-year cost, included tools, onboarding fees, project exclusions, security alert ownership, restore testing, and exit assistance. Office proximity and strong reviews help build a shortlist; a written service schedule determines what you are buying.
